Luminaires It's About Romi

01

Urban spirit

At It’s About Romi, the city is much more than a setting: it’s a muse. Each luminaire in the collection translates the raw energy of the metropolis. Black metal, graphic lines, architectural silhouettes… These creations capture the essence of great cities, from the effervescence of Marseille to the colors of Lisbon. Reflecting a modern lifestyle, these fixtures combine industrial style, sleek design and raw materials to illuminate interiors with character.

02

Ecological commitment

Planting a tree for every luminaire sold: this is one of the pillars of It’s About Romi’s sustainable commitment. In partnership with Veritree, this reforestation program is based on rigorous monitoring and independent verification. The Dutch brand has decided to focus its action on planting mangroves on the east coast of Kenya. This transparent approach, far removed from greenwashing, has already led to the planting of over 500,000 trees. It’s a strong gesture that’s here to stay.

City lights

Founded in 1993 on the banks of Amsterdam’s oldest canal, It’s About RoMiRealistic Open Minded Individuals – imagines design luminaires inspired by urban effervescence and the world’s great cities. Each creation, named after a metropolis, reflects its unique ambience in an assertive style.

And because light can also grow forests, the brand plants a tree for every lamp sold. An ecological commitment at the heart of the Dutch brand’s approach.

It's About Romi Lighting

Slightly urban, resolutely elegant and always full of character: It’s About RoMi floor lamps are unrivalled when it comes to waking up a reading corner or electrifying a living room that’s a little too quiet. True pieces of design, they combine contemporary aesthetics and practicality with disarming naturalness. With their industrial looksubtly softened by clean lines and carefully crafted finishes, these fixtures with their graphic silhouettes sublimate metal and celebrate raw materials with panache.

Every detail counts: adjustable shades, balanced structures and light that can be modulated according to the mood of the moment. Functional without ever being boring, they offer a luminous and inspired setting. But beyond style, it’s a philosophy that’s embraced: a sincere attention to sustainability, impeccable material quality and a concrete ecological commitment – a tree planted for every lamp sold.

Capture the eye with an It’s About RoMi pendant. More than just a luminaire, it acts as a visual anchor that structures the space.

Depending on the model, it evokes the codes of Art Deco with its architectural lines, evokes the charm of a vintage object in chiselled glass, or plays on the modernity of an opaline globe with a refined marble effect. The materials are noble, the finishes impeccable, and the proportions perfectly studied to dialogue with the volumes of a contemporary interior.

Above a dining table, in a reading area or suspended in a cluster to decorate a high ceiling, the suspension enhances the space, without ever overloading it. Its design, equally at home in a minimalist decor or a more eclectic universe, adds a touch of controlled sophistication.
